What is a Turbuhaler?
A turbuhaler is a breath activated, dry powder inhaler. The inspiration force lifts the particles that are deposited on a dosing disc. When a patient inhales, the fine powder moves through the inhalation channel towards the de-aggregation zone where the particle size of the powder is further reduced. A viewing window is present on the device to determine the amount of medication that is left in the device.
