What is a Nebuliser
A nebuliser is a device that converts liquid medication into a fine mist or aerosol, that can be inhaled. Compressed/Pressurized air or ultrasonic is pushed through the liquid medication. Aerosol medication is then inhaled through a mouthpiece or face mask. A standard dose requires 5-10 minute to inhale.
The device may be pressurised air or ultrasonic; The nebuliser can be powered up using a car cigarette lighter, rechargeable batteries or plugged into an electrical power point.

- Clean all parts individually
- Tubing, mask and mouth piece replaced every 3months
- Filters checked cleaned and replaced regularly
- Pump serviced every 12 months
- The right dose will not be administered
- Increase risk of microbial infection
